With over 14 years of experience, serial entrepreneur and Chairman of the neobank iCapital Ventures, Achille AGBE assists investment banks, funds, and high-growth companies in their fundraising efforts (debt or equity) on financial markets. A practicing financier and specialist in financial and banking law, Achille AGBE has advised several private, corporate, and institutional clients, particularly on initial public offerings (IPOs), structured finance, regulatory issues, and OTC markets.
Achille works on issues relating to fundraising, securities law, financial market infrastructure, instrument trading, securities transactions, litigation, anti-money laundering (AML-LFT), balance sheet and off-balance sheet transactions, private equity, and due diligence.
He is the winner of more than 20 awards, including the Forbes 30 ranking and the UNESCO and CEPS (Centres d'Études et de Prospective Stratégique de Paris) award for best entrepreneur in Africa. Achille is the founder and chairman of the financial organization EIC Corporation.
This organization is committed to promoting popular share ownership through investment clubs, financial inclusion, and economic diplomacy. It supports individuals and companies in mastering investment and financing mechanisms (financial market operations, financial instrument structuring, financial analysis, stock market analysis, and portfolio management). Created in 2008 and present in more than 50 countries, EIC Corporation has integrated an international network of 600 investment clubs.
Former Technical Advisor to the Ivorian Minister of Trade, Industry, and Entrepreneurship, responsible for business financing, Achille is the author of the book “ICO/STO: The New Economy of Business Financing.” Achille AGBE holds a degree in Business Law, an MBA (EDHEC) in Business Administration and Management, and a specialized MBA in International Finance from INSEEC Paris (EBS).
Passionate about finance and law, Achille is preparing a thesis on crypto-asset financing for businesses at the University of Lyon and teaches at universities and business schools (Ascencia Business School, Yellow we).
